Namaste.

I’m Alok Sharma — but you can call me Alok. Welcome to my personal home on the internet.

I’m a solo creator, a minimalist web educator, a story lover, a stray animal feeder, and a guy who still believes in doing things the old-school way. I was born in the pre mid-70s, raised in an India where things were slower, simpler, and more soulful.

I live in Nasik Road, Maharashtra, with a home full of paws — 10 cats and 3 dogs, all Indian breeds. Every day, I also feed around 15–20 colony dogs and 4–5 cats nearby. These aren’t tasks. They’re part of my daily rhythm — as natural as breathing.

By work, I run Alokify.com — my GoDaddy Reseller storefront.

A Few Things That Define Me

  • I’m more of a friend than a father to my daughter (though my wife has disagreed during study time).
  • I’m learning to play the Octapad SPD-20 PRO, slowly — purely for the joy of rhythm.
  • I prefer Linux over Windows, pen and paper over productivity apps, and truth over trends.
  • I’ve taken long road trips across India as a solo driver with my wife and daughter — and they remain etched as some of the most evergreen memories of my life.
  • I’m also vegan by peace, not protest — a quiet shift that made me feel lighter and kinder inside.

So Much More to Share…

I’ve lived many lives in one —
Seen Bombay when it was truly Bombay, travelled in coal engine trains, coded on Sinclair ZX Spectrum, and survived the Doordarshan antenna-twisting era shouting “Is it okay now?”

But all of that? That deserves more space.

I’ll be sharing those stories soon in a memory journal right here. Until then, this site is a work in progress — like all of us.

You can also visit the My Websites section to explore the websites I’m actively building, currently working on, or plan to bring to life in the future — each with its own story and purpose.

Feel free to explore, say hi, or just return later for more.
